Terms of service
Last updated: 25/jul/2026
Welcome to Ternaza. These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the agreement between you and us when you use our website or place an order. By using ternaza.com or buying from us, you agree to be bound by them — so please read carefully.

Throughout these Terms, "Ternaza," "we," "our," and "us" refer to [COMPANY NAME]. "You" and "your" refer to the person using our site or placing an order.
1. Using our website
You need to be at least 18 years old to place an order with us.
If you create an account, please:
- Give us accurate information
- Keep your password private
- Let us know straight away if you think someone else has used your account
You can't use our website or its content:
- For anything illegal
- To break any laws or regulations
- To copy, scrape, or reproduce our content without our written permission
- To try to access our systems without authorisation, or to upload viruses or harmful code
2. Products, pricing, and accuracy
We do our best to describe our products accurately — sizes, materials, images, and specifications.
Colours — real-world colours can look slightly different from what you see on your screen, depending on your display settings. This isn't a fault, but you can still return items you don't love within 30 days (see section 5).
Sizing — check the sizing guide on each product page before you order. Fit varies between styles.
Mistakes — sometimes a product page has a typo, wrong spec, or incorrect price. If we spot one, we'll fix it as soon as we can, and we'll always contact you before we ship if a mistake affects your order.
Prices — all prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We can change prices at any time, but any change won't affect orders you've already placed.
Availability — everything on our site is subject to availability. If we can't fulfil an order because a product has sold out, we'll let you know and refund you in full.
3. Orders and payment
When your order becomes a contract — when you place an order, we'll email you an order confirmation. This confirmation isn't the same as accepting your order. Your order becomes a binding contract when we dispatch it.
We can decline an order at our discretion — for example, if we suspect fraud or if there's a stock issue we haven't caught. If we decline, we'll refund you in full and email to let you know.
Payment — full payment is taken at checkout. We accept:
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- Any other methods shown at checkout
All payments are processed through Shopify Payments, which is fully encrypted and PCI-compliant. We don't store your card details.
4. Shipping and delivery
We currently ship to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
For delivery times, tracking, and shipping methods, see our Shipping Policy.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or someone you nominate) take physical possession of your order — not when it's handed to the carrier.
5. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
You have full statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of delivery and get a full refund (including original delivery cost), as long as the item is unused and in resalable condition.
On top of that, we offer an extended 30-day change-of-mind return window. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Your statutory rights as a UK consumer aren't affected by anything in these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The original content on ternaza.com — including our brand name, logo, website design, our own written copy, and any original photography we've commissioned — belongs to us or our licensors.
You can't reproduce, redistribute, or use any of it commercially without our written permission.
7. Our liability to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
- Your rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Subject to the above, our maximum liability to you for anything you buy from us is limited to the price you paid for that item.
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — such as loss of profit, loss of business, or knock-on costs — arising from your use of our website or products, to the fullest extent the law allows.
8. Circumstances outside our control
Sometimes things happen that stop us from fulfilling our part of the agreement — extreme weather, transport disruptions, fires, floods, supply chain failures, government restrictions, or other events outside our reasonable control.
If any of these affect your order:
- We'll contact you as soon as we know
- We'll do our best to resolve the issue
- If we genuinely can't fulfil your order, we'll refund you in full
We won't be liable for delays or failures caused by any of the above.
9. Disputes and how to resolve them
If you're unhappy with something, please email us first at contact@ternaza.com. We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly, and most concerns can be sorted this way.
If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you have the right to bring the matter to the courts of England and Wales. You may also have the right to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme, though we're not currently registered with one.
Nothing in this section takes away your rights as a UK consumer.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute we can't resolve informally will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
11. Other legal bits
No third-party rights — no one who isn't a party to these Terms has any right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Assignment — we may transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms to someone else (for example, if we sell the business). You can't transfer yours.
Severability — if any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will still apply.
Waiver — if we don't insist on a specific right at any point, that doesn't mean we've given it up.
Entire agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, form the whole agreement between you and us.
Changes to these Terms — we can update these Terms at any time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
